Kyle is a composer, producer, sound designer, and installation artist based in Montréal and New York City. The influence of both his acoustic and electronic background is evident in the complex sonic textures he creates and the innovative music production and recording techniques he uses to create them.

In 2017, he launched a solo, electronic project – Epokhé – and began to perform in various venues in Montréal. During this time, he began collaborating on projects as a freelance audio engineer, producer, and composer with independent musicians, visual artists, and film makers. In 2019 Kyle began his work with academy award winning film composer Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings), where he has been working as an orchestrator and musical sound designer to create unique electronic and acoustic elements that transforms Shore’s music. Since then he has worked on a variety of scores for Hollywood releases, redefining their sonic landscapes with his own unique aesthetic.

Kyle graduated from McGill University with a joint degree in philosophy and music production and then obtained a Master’s degree in Music Technology from NYU, specializing in music production and sound design for films and video games, as well as immersive audio and interactive sound environments.

His compositions are emotionally impactful and can range from subtle and reflective to tense and epic, which is a testament to his ability to recognize diverse emotive qualities on-screen and transform them into a wide range of musical representations.
